The install should go smoothly, simply mount your regular Warcraft III cd, run the installer (I always use the -opengl flag, but you might not need it), then eject the cd. win98 and winxp probably work too, but I haven't tried them. That said, I know that the latest cvs works as well. If you want a version that is guaraneed to work, try the 20041019 build. I've played this game with every version of wine since some version back in October of 2003 until the current cvs, so yours is probably going to work.
