Jo lies with a knife in her stomach, bleeding out. She pulls it out and struggles to stand as a man calls out her name – Josette. She staggers into the bedroom and sees two young kids hiding behind the bed. She comforts the children and says they’re going to play hide and seek.
The man comes into the room and tells her to come out and that he won’t kill her. Jo and the two young boys hide under the bed. He goes to to walk away but then he comes back, stops and grabs the bed to pull it up. In Mystic Falls in 1994, Kai opens the trunk of Damon’s car and pulls Bonnie out.
