I'd say most people get it via Gibbed because you get the variant they need most, others farm it via the patch, both versions can be dropped/duped. There was a legit time window back then to farm a Grog for like a week, now it's only possible via the patch or by using Gibbed. I know many people farmed a lot of it during the event and maybe someone did not need it anymore, or had an extra copy to spare. I was asking for the version you could farm from the golden golems, which is droppable and not linked to the quest.
